Using Nature to Heal

Jul 5, 2017

In my last post, I discussed taking advantage of the abundance that summer produce provides. The fresh, local and extra hydrating fruits that warmer months offer are very special and something we can look forward to cherishing year after year. There is also something very different, yet equally powerful, that the summer months provide us–ample opportunity to use nature as another healing tool.

Most people know that it’s important to get out and enjoy nature from time to time. Many go for walks when the weather is nice, spend time at the beach on vacation, or have a nice picnic in the park with their kids. When it comes to healing though, nature holds far more power than we give it credit for. Thanks to Anthony William, we can harness this power in a way that is specific not only to the needs of a soul that has been wounded by hardship but also to our cells and DNA itself! It’s the combined approach of using food, supplements, prayer, AND nature that makes this way of healing radically more impactful than anything else available.

Healing Through Birdsong

For example, many people notice different types of birdsong in warmer months, but noticing them is just the tip of the iceberg. As Anthony William states in the Medical Medium book:

Birdsong is the most sacred form of music; birds sing the songs of the angels and the heavens. Birdsong mends a fractured soul and can reverse disease. This is because the frequency of these melodies resonates deep within out DNA, which allows it to reconstruct the body on a cell level. If you listen to the birds with respect and appreciation and don’t take them for granted, there’s no doubt that our life will start to transform.

Those are beautifully strong and promising words that we are so grateful for. Practicing this meditation not only positively impacts our soul, but can speed up physical healing as well. This meditation is also one of the easiest to practice frequently no matter where you are in your healing journey. Even if you’re not able to get outside, this technique is available to you just by opening a window nearby and tuning your senses to the life outside your home.

Healing Action Step

If possible, spend a few minutes this weekend getting in touch with the birdsongs around you. Pay attention to what kind of birds you see, what their patterns and personalities are and begin listening to their songs. Notice how it feels when you take them in with your full attention while honoring just how miraculous and healing they are. To take this one step further, try calling on the unknown angels to support you during your birdsong experience. You could ask them to bring you your favorite bird, an extra healing song or for your own body to be able to maximize the healing benefits of the experience itself.
